COMMERCIAL Little Business Done On ’Change
The Christchurch Stock Exchange was quiet yesterday, as is to be expected at the beginning of the holiday period. A total of only 1788 shares changed hands.
New Zealand Refrigerating were 9d firmer in a sale of 200 at 45s 9d. Other stocks to change hands were Holeproof preference at 15s 6d, and Buntings at 28s. A parcel of 1061 Matea Forests, an unlisted stock, changed hands at 3s.
