Jamboree “Currency”
With the Pan-Pacific Boy Scout Jamboree at Auckland only 15 days away, 7500 New Zealand scouts are busy preparing their kits and laying in a stock of the common currency of any scout gathering—badges. In Auckland’s scout shop, pennants and badges have almost been sold out. The shop’s turnover has reached £7O a day and is still rising.—(P.A.)
