Chinese Revolt Predicted
(Bee. 11.45 p.m.) LOS ANGELES. December 11. Popular revolt will break out in Communist China soon, Mr George K. C. Yeh, Formosa’s new emissary to the United States, told a meeting last night. The Communist leader, Mao Tae-tung, bad enslaved the Chinese mainland-to breaking point, he said. Mao’s commune plan, instituted last May. had gone “far beyond anything ever attempted by Stalin.” He described the communes as “militarised slave camps providing everything from food to funerals."
