‘WOOL’ MADE FROM COTTON
Claim, By Russia (N.Z. Press Association—Copvripht) LONDON, November 30. Russian scientists have produced “wool’’ from cotton which may soon compete successfully with artificial and synthetic fibres, Moscow Radio said today, according to the British United Press. Test samples did not lose their quality after being buried in earth for a long time, the radio said. Experiments revealed that the new “wool” withstood high ternl- - and kept fast dyes, the Moscow Radio said.
