Jugoslavs To Tackle Kilimanjaro
BELGRADE. A 12-man mountaineering ex-' pedition from Jugoslavia will • shortly leave for Konya, in an attempt to climb Africa’s highest! mountain. Kilimanjaro. The ex-| pedition will try to reach the 6010 metre (about 19.700 feet) I peak of Kilimanjaro and to erect the Jugoslav flag on it as the first] Jugoslavs to climb the mountain.! The expedition will leave by] sea for the port of Assab and wiil then go by car to Addis Ababa.; the capital of Ethiopia. They will then proceed to Kenya and. via, Nairobi, to the foot of Kilimanjaro. The expedition will split intoi three groups.
