Trotters’ Race At Otaki
“The Press” Special Service AUCKLAND, November 21. Astrona. which has had a win and three placings from her four starts this season, should extend her record in the Frank Shaw Handicap, a race for slow-class trotters, at the Otaki Trotting Club's meeting tomorrow. A six-year-old mare by a champion trotter. Ripcord, from Josedale Star. Astrona has improved with every run this season. She should be a good winner in the next few weeks. Most opposition to Astrona may come from Beverley Light and Molly's Report. The double will be run on the Otaki Cup and the Castlehill Handicap. The weather is expected to be favourable and the track should provide perfect footing. Selections:— 11.30 a.m.—Frank Shaw Handicap: Astrona, Beverley Light.
