A. E. Matthews Turns 90
LONDON. November 21. England’s oldest working actor. A. E. (’“Matty”) Matthews will be 90 today. Asked if he had any special plans for his birthday, "Matty" said: "Yes. I’m taking the dog for a walk in the morning and I’m taking the dog for a walk in the afternoon.” He added: “I am not very keen on birthdays any more. Drinks are too expensive.”
