Sports Grounds Available
The Waimate Golf Club’s course remains open during the summer, and a tournament i during the Christmas-New Year week raters for visitors. The Croquet Chib’s lawns in Shearman street are available to visitors at all times. Tennis courts at Victoria Park, handy to the motor camp, are used by visitors, I and those who desire a game on the Waimate Tennis Club’s three courts during the holiday period are invited to apply at Handy’s bookshop.
