i Change In Month Suggested The Christchurch Drainage Board has received a suggestion from the Christchurch Transport Board that the date for the election of the two boards be transferred from May to October. "The committee agrees with the Transport Board that May is possibly not the best time for an election.” the finance committee reported last evening. "Some doubts have been expressed, however. whether printers would be able to cope w ith the board’s rolls as well as the national rolls, should a snap General Election take place in the November of ' the same year as the board’s : election.” The board will advise the Transport Board that it thinks the first Saturday in October a 'suitable date.
