The 1958-59 edition of Whites Air Directory maintains the high standard of completeness that has marked previous issues. The directory is the fact book for aviation in New Zealand and the South Pacific and it contains; information of such a variety that i it is a compilation of equal value to both the layman and the airman. The list of contents has no fewer than 38 separate sections. They include a historical survey and “who’s who.” an industrial roundup of operators, representatives. overhaul companies, approved firms, components and materials and insurance. There is a lay group including clubs. secretaries. pageants, trophies. model supplies and scholarships. Official civil aviation material occupies a good proportion of the publication and there is also much useful material about the Air Force.
