SCHOOL CADET TRAINING

Support Scheme (New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, Nov. 12.
Unanimous support for school cadet training schemes, because they inculcated a spirit of citizen-; ship, leadership and discipline, was expressed by Dunedin secondary school principals today, when commenting on the resolution of' the annual conference of thei Methodist Church of New Zealandi in Christchurch favouring aboli-| tion of lhe training scheme. The military value of cadet! training was small compared with; incidental benefits to character, and personality that accrued from the scheme, they said.
