Procedure For Payment (New Zeatana Piess Association! WELLINGTON. November 3. The Reserve Bank today issued the following statement, concerning payment for imports under excess licences: “As announced by the Minister of Customs (Mr Boord) when outlining the 1959 import licensing schedule, overseas exchange will be provided for all excess licences not later than March 31, 1959, to the extent that the exchange has not already been granted, or payment overseas has not already been made for the goods. “Importers may apply now through their trading bank for the exchange to which they may be entitled.’’ Circulars detailing procedure are available from the trading banks.
