jthan 10 years on both the Christ»church Technical College’s Board ' of Governors and the Canterbury • University College Council. ’ In recognition of his long service to primary school education, Mr Langley was elected a life member of the Canterbury School .Committees’ Association, of which ‘he was a former president. He 1 was also on the Dominion execu«tive of the New Zealand School • Committees’ Federation. . He was a member of the Canterbury School Amateur Sports ‘ Association, the Christchurch Vocational Guidance Centre Boys’ Advisory Committee, the Canterbury branch of the Library Asso- • ciation, and vice-president of the ; Cholmondeley Children’s Home - Committee.
