Athletics Pirie Leaves For New Zealand

(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) ' LONDON, September 25. Gordon Pirie and his wife left London this morning on the first leg of their journey to New Zealand, where they are to make their home. They intend staying for two weeks in South Africa, where they will join the Empire three miles champion Murray Halberg, of New Zealand.

Pirie and Halberg hope to run m a few races in the Union, after which they will continue to New Zealand.
