Aborigine Sues Broadcasting
PERTH, September 26. A West Australian aborigine has sued the Australian Broadcasting Commission and the Commissioner of Native Welfare (Mr Stanley Middleton), alleging his credit and reputation have been injured He is Ernie Mitchell, who complains of words broadcast in h news session on August 27, 1935. Fourteen other natives. are also suing the A.B.C. and Middleton in a separate case. Sir Arthur Porritt’s Post.—A New Zealander, Sir Arthur Forr\t, has agreed to be 'chairman of a committee being formed to review Britain’s medical services. Sir Arthur Porritt. who is 58, is surgeon-sergeant to the Queen. He was a member of New Zealand’s Olympic Games team in Paris, in 1924.—London, September 25.
