Share Prices Drop
(Rec. 10 p.m.) MELBOURNE, September 23. Lead and zinc shares fell sharply on the Sydney and Melbourne Stock Exchanges today. In Melbourne, Mount Isa, which exports most of its production to the United States, experienced a drop of Is 4d to 29s 6d, and Broken Hill South 3s 6d to 53s at the opening call. Consolidated Zinc, New Broken Hill and North Broken Hill each fell 6d.
In Sydney, Mount Isa fell Is Broken Hill South was down 3s 6d and other silver leads were down.
