Ban Lifted On Reporters

(Rec. 8 p.m.) TAIPEH, Sept. 23. The Chinese Nationalist Government today announced it had lifted the ban on newspapermen \ the blockaded Quemoy Islands.

The reason for the ban has never been announced, but it is believed that heavy artillery has been shipped into the island m the last few days.
