Sir,—l would like to support A. S. Mence in suggesting that any appropriate bodies raise their voices in the sternest protest over the proposed execution of Jimmy Wilson. If Governor Folsom were inundated with cablegrams from New Zealand begging for a reprieve—who is to say how far-reaching the effect might be? As a Methodist may I ask whether my church has raised its voice against ■ this shocking decision—Yours, etc., CHRISTIANS AWAKE. September 18, 1958.
