OTAKI SCHOLAR TO RETURN
N.Z. Chosen For Future Home AUCKLAND, Sept. 21. John Edwards, the 18-year-old Scottish schoolboy who has been in New Zealand on an Otaki scholarship, intends to make New Zealand his home. Before boarding the Rangitane for England, after his nine-week tour of both islands, he said: ‘‘l think New Zealand has the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen and the hospitality I have received has been simply wonderful.* ‘‘l have spent much time in both islands and have been skiing, hunting, and surfing,” he said. “Altogether I have had a wonderful time. “Now I am going back to Aberdeen University to become a doctor, and when I qualify I intend to return here to live.”
