Plans For Flight By Russian Plane A Russian DC3 type aircraft will fly from Mirny, the Soviet Station in the Antarctic, to McMurdo Sound, a distance of 2310 miles, “at the first opportunity after October 20.” Ulis was reported in a message to the United States Antarctic expedition commander, RearAdmiral G.
