WELLINGTON, Sept. 7. Total investments with the T.A.B. for Saturday’s four meetings totalled £351,569 10s, of £186,646 10s in win and place bets and £164,923 on doubles.
Totals for the individual meetings, with the off-course substitutes in brackets, were:— Avondale: £ M 2,600 (none re* qulred). Wanganui: £108,323 10s (Picaroon). Cambridge: £21,404 (none required.). New Brighton: £49,605 5s (none required).
