The weather has been fine since Wednesday and the track has dried out well for the second day of the Wanganui Jockey Club’s spring meeting on Saturday. The forecast is favourable, and the going should be much better than it was for the first day last week. The T.A.B. double is on the Higgle Handicap and the Owen Handicap.
