Tribute By . Mr Nash (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 10. The term of office of Sir Leslie Muro as permanent representative of New Zealand at the United Nations and as New Zealand Ambassador at Washington will end on September 16 when his year as President of the General Assembly expires, the Prime Minister (Mr Nash) announced. In a tribute to Sir JLeslie Munro, Mr Nash said it was of great satisfaction to New Zealand that in the momentous debates on world affairs and events the special emergency General Assembly should work under his presidency. “We may be assured that he will apply to this important task the qualities which have already won him distinction as president of the 12th session of the General Assembly,” he 'said. “His present responsibility provides a fitting conclusion to his term of office.”
