BOY CAUGHT IN MACHINE

(New Zealand Press Association) WHANGAREI, August 10. An 11-year-old boy was caught in some milking machine belting between 5.10 and 7.30 p.m. on Friday and killed. He was: Karaka Rangi Wharemate, adopted son of Abraham Pere Wharemate, of Tautoro, which is about 10 miles from Kaikohe. The boy left his home to do the milking shortly after 5 p.m. and he was found dead by his 19-year-old brother, Turoa, at 7.30 p.m.
