U.S. Swimming Record.—John Henricks (Australia) today broke the American record for the 200 metres freestsyle, winning the United States National Amateur Athletic Union event in 2min s.2sec. The former record was 2min 6.6 sec, set by William Woolsey, of Hawaii, in 1956.
