SCHOOL ASSEMBLY HALLS

State Post-Primary Target

The sum of £7.5 million has been allocated by the Government for the building of schools this year and it is hoped to have all post-primary schools equipped with assembly halls within the next three years, said Mr M. A- Connelly, M.P., on Saturday. He was speaking at the opening of the Spreydon School’s assembly hall. “We are making subsidies of up to £4OOO for the erection of assembly halls at primary schools/' Mr Connelly added.
