EGGS DOWN ON MONDAY
Standard Grade Now 3s 9d (From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, August 8. Egg prices in New Zealand will be reduced on Monday. The reduction is to be made on the basis of Is 3d a dozen for standard grade eggs in the Island and Is Id a dozen' in the South Island. The new retail prices apply to cartoned eggs—large, standard, and mediumwhile uncartoned eggs will be Id a dozen cheaper in the Christchurch egg marketing area. The new prices in Christchurch. Westland and Nelson - Marlborough will be:—
