Canterbury Amateur Championship The finalists in the Canterbury amateur billiards championships are E. Simons and T. Yesber.j. Last evening Simons beat V. Choat by 500 to 348. Yesberg beat G. Cormack by 500 to 377. The best breaks of the evening were:—Simons 102 (the first threefigure break in the championships), 46, 42; Yesberg, 67; Cormack, 41. The final will be played at the Christchurch W.M.C. on Tuesday evening.
