(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. July 18. The statement of the Prime Minister (Mr Nash) to the national dairy conference that “we will not let food prices rise.” was contested by Mr D. N. McKay (Opposition, Marsden). in the House of Representatives today. “In the Prime Minister’s own electorate notices are being put in mail boxes today that the price of bread is to go up one penny a loaf,” said Mr McKay.
