Upper Riecarton And Hornby The annual meeting of the Upper Riecarton and Hornby. Garden Club was held recently. Winners of cups for 1957-58 were. Gentles Cup, Mrs Taggart; Mrs E. Browns Cup, Mrs Murdoch; Noeline Holmes Cup, Mrs Penny; Gentles Rose Bowl, Mrs Gilmore; Gentles Cup, Mrs McStay; most points for year, Mrs Taggart. The election of officers resulted as follows: —patron, Mrs Collins; life members, Mrs Gentles; president, Mrs Taggart; vice-presidents, Mesdames Hall, Reese, Holbrough, secretary, Mrs Phelan; treasurer. Mrs Spitz; committee, Mesdames Sheppard, J. Fazackerly, A. Fazackerly, E. Brown, Rossiter, Christian, and Loader. Redcliffs-Sumner At the annual meeting of the Redcliffs-SUmrler Garden Club the annual report was read by the retiring president (Mrs W. H. Bowen), and the balance sheet by the treasurer (Mrs D. Blackwell). Points for the year were as follows: Miss C. Andrews’ Rose Bowl, Mrs G. Eames; Decorative Work, A. class: Mrs H. Carter: B Class: Miss P. Hamilton; Flowers, Mrs G. Eames, Mrs E. W. White, .Mrs J., S. Shimmin Ist equal; vegetables, Mrs J. Ballance. The following officers were elected: patron, Miss C. Andrews; president, Mrs A. B. Cullens; vicepresidents, Mrs W. H. Bowen, Miss P.
