Appeal Against Suspension
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND. June 19. The jockey, R. G. Forbes, who yesterday was disqualified for 12 months by the judicial committee of the Auckland Racing Club, when found guilty of not riding the horse Bunyarra on its merits in the Visitors’ Handicap at Ellerslie on June 7. has appealed. The appeal will be heard within the next two weeks.
