ARGUMENT WITH REFEREE

Sub-Union Amends Penalties (New Zealand Press Association) WHANGAREI. June 8. The Mangonui Rugby Sub-Union has amended the penalties it imposed on three men who took part in an argument with the referee, after a football match at Ahipara last Saturday. It disqualified two of the men from attending matches for four playing Saturdays, from June 7. instead of for the rest of the 1958 season, as originally decided. The third man was reprimanded. Previously he had been disqualified for four playing Saturdays. The three men have the right of appeal to the North Auckland. Rugby Union.
