The points are' —Beckenham 4, University A 3. University B X St. Albans 2. North Linwood 2, Barrington 0, South Christehnreh 0 Linv- ood Avenue 0. University A and Barrington had had byes before an eighth team entered the competition. University A, with its strong women s section of Diane and Denise S*Hiter. was too good for South Christchurch on Saturday. University A won by 5 matches to 1. although both the Souter twins were taken to three sets. Results;— Xerth LtowMd v. Beckenham Men's Singles.—J. Beatty beat M~ Crampton. 7-5, 6-2; B.
