BOY BURNER ON FACE
Home-made Rocket Flares Ilf (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, f June 8. A crude attempt at imaking a power-driven rocket in its 12-year-old designer suffering facial burns outside hit home in Randwick road. Nortbland, on Saturday morning. The boy, Richard had constructed the rocket K’ith cardboard and fixed a small tin containing magnesium andpotassium permanganate to it. He used a cracker fuse to set the mixture alight. . When he bent and It the fuse the composition flare! up and burned his face. The koy ran to his house and was tak|n to Wellington Hospital by. artbulance.
