STATEMENT ON T.E.A.L.
Chamber’s Request To Mr Nash (New Zeaiana Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 5. A call to the Prime Minister (Mr Nash) for "a complete statement on the Tasman Empire Airways’ deal, concluded last month with the Australian Government, was made today by the Auckland Chamber of Commerce. The chamber urged a public statement “to clear up possible misunderstandings by the public” through inadequate knowledge of the facts influencing the agreement. Possession Order.—An order for possession of a house at 135 Mays road was granted by Mr Justice Hutchinson in the Supreme Court yesterday in a claim by Thomas Leslie Floyd and Patrick Floyd (Mr E. P. Wills) against James Guy Bourchier Sayers (Mr N. H. Buchanan). His Honour suspended the issue of the warrant for a week. Judgment for the plantiff for £133 Is Id was also given.
