A spokesman for the movement in New York said tonight that he would make a formal request to the African-Asian group tornorrow that it meet next week to discuss the Algerian situation and take steps to have the item placed on the agenda of the assembly. “General de Gaulle deliberately ignored a fundamental issue in Algeria, namely the struggle of a people for independence.** he declared. “We want to move Hpw, while the Algerian question is still in the minds of the people, to have it placed on the agenda.”
