Reunion Gathering At Invercargill

(New Zeaiana Press Association) INVERCARGILL, June 4. Seventy-four years ago. Mrs J. Cattanach went as a bride of only a few weeks to Linloch on the shores of Lake Wakatipu. Last night, sprightly 92-y earold Mrs Cattanach, formerly of Salford street, Invercargill, arrived from Dunedin to be the oldest guest at a reunion of residents and former residents of the head of Lake Wakatipu and Lakeside stations, in the Scottish Hall, Invercargill. Mrs Cattanach is the oldest living resident of the district. Guests from every South Island province attended the reunion banquet and social gathering. Seventy-four-year-old Mrs E. A. Baird, of Nelson, was the most northern of the 280 guests. Messages from all over New Zealand were read by the organiser of the function (Mrs A. L. Buchanan), of Long Bush
