Canada Welcomes de Gaulle

(Rec. 8 p.m.) OTTAWA, June 3. Canada’s Prime Minister, Mr John Diefenbaker, said today that Canada welcomed what he called the solution of France’s Parliamentary crisis.

He referred in the House ot Commons to General Charles de Gaulle as France’s “war-time hero” and expressed the hope that under his- leadership France would have political stability and economic prosperity.
