Golden Morn and Prince Consort gave impressive displays over four flights of hurdles. Ridden by his race day jockey, B. J. Anderton, Golden Morn completed his task at a sound pace. It was an especially good performance considering his limited experience. Consort (J. M. Surgenor) was equally as impressive over the same fences. Exodus (J. Didham) showed considerable improvement on his recent schooling. He has an engagement in the Otago Hurdles on the second day of the meeting. Irish Wings (J M. Surgenor) and King's Lace (G. E.
