Maoris’ Tour To Cost £14,000
(N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) SYDNEY, April 29. The cost of the Maoris’ tour of Australia this season will be about £14,000, according to the New South Wales Rugby Union’s treasurer, Mr C. Blunt. "The cost of the tour is high, but with four appearances in Sydney we should clear expenses,” he said today. “The union made a handy profit on the 1949 Maoris, who were an excellent drawcard.”
