N.Z. WOMEN’S TEAM FOR GERMANY
Decision Not Yet Definite (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. April 29. The participation of a New Zealand women’s table tennis team in the 1959 world championships at Dortmund. Germany should not be accepteo as definite, the chairman of the New Zealand Table Tennis Association executive (Mr W. Mullins) said at a meeting last night. He recalled that the voting at the annual meeting on the motion that a women's team be sent to Germany next year was 31 for and 22 against. Unless all the associations got behind the tour it would not be possible to raise the funds required and it would be useless for the executive to go ahead without some guarantee. Mr Mullins said. It was detided to consult associations on proposals for financing any tour
