Billy Leckie, of Dunedin, gained a popular pointe decision oveK Brian Bennett, of Australia, in' a J professional light-weight boxing ‘ match here tonight. Leckie. who showed stamina, scored magnificently in * closing stages of a bout which had . the' crowd on its feet right from - the start. It was one of the finest contests in Palmerston North for many years.
