American-Asian Relations

(New Zealand Press Association) (Rec. 9 p.m.) BOSTON, April 28. Improved relations between the United States and Asia were called for by the Philippines Ambassador to the United States. Mr Carlos Romulo. He said it would avail America nothing to save her European alliances if the result was hostility and indifference among Asians and Africans. It would be futile for the United States to conquer space if it meant losing the earth, Mr Romulo told a fund-raising dinner for needy students.
