MASS PARACHUTE JUMP ENDS IN TRAGEDY.—Five men were killed and many were injured when 1500 paratroops of the 101st United States Airborne Division made a mass jump at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, a few days ago. This photograph shows some of the paratroops taking part in the exercise. A statement issued by the Fort Campbell information office attributed the tragedy to wind dragging the parachutes along the ground after the troops had landed.
