Advances By Bank To Continue (New Zealand Press Association) MASTERTON, April 27. Loans to dairy companies for capital purposes would be continued. Mr A. Linton, chairman of the New Zealand Dairy Board, gave this assurance at the Wairarapa -ward conference at Carterton. Though the account could have a debit balance in the future, the Reserve Bank had agreed to maintain the service provided the £2 million limit was not exceeded. “However, it would be wise for companies to use their own resources as far as possible because if a debit balance does follow, Government funds would be involved,” Mr Linton Mid.
