PROTEST AGAINST DUMPING
Labour Federation Message To T.U.C. (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. April ?8. In a message to the British Trades Union Congress, the New Zealand Federation of Labour has expressed “deep appreciation of the resnonse given to our appeal for support against the dumping of dairy produce.” “It is very heartening to the peonle of New Zealand to know of the solid support given them bv the great mass of the people in Britain represented by the T.U.C..” said the signed hv the president (Mr F. PWalsh). “Your answer gives testimony to the fact that the bond between our peoples cannot be shaken by economic opportunists. You can be assured that New Zealanders, in particular the trade unionists for whom I speak, will respond to your support by doing everything possible to maintain the New Zealand dairy industry on sound lines.”
