MINISTER’S VISIT TOMORROW

(From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, April 14. The Minister of Education (Mr Skoglund) will spend about 12 hours in Christchurch on Wednesday; but in that time he plans to get a great deal of business done. He will arrive by the steamer express on Wednesday morning and will return to Wellington that night. At 9 a.m. Mr Skoglund will meet the Mayor of Kaiapoi at the council offices and will inspect land nearby for a future school. An hour later he is scheduled to open the new assembly hall at the Rangiora High School. At 11.45 he will pay a visit to the Fernside School. In the afternoon at 2.15 Mr Skoglund will open the assembly hall at the Papanui High School and will meet the Canterbury Sheltered Workshops Association at the Education Board Office at 3.45 p.m. At 4 p.m. Mr Skoglund will meet the Christchurch Post-Prim-ary Schools* Council.
