Full Programme For Conference A full agenda has been set down for the thirty-fifth annual . conference of the New Zealand Registered Nurses’ Association, ito be held in Christchurch next week. On Wednesday at 8 ajn. a celebration of mass will be held at ; the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament and at 9 a.m. a serI vice will be held in the Christchurch Cathedral. The conference will be officially I opened at 10 a.m. at the Caledonian Hall, and the,guest speaker will be the Minister of Health (Mr Mason). Business of the conference will be discussed f<sr the’ rest of the day, and at 8 pjn. a panel of speakers will present reports on the International Conference of 'Nurses, held in Rome last year. The election of officers will be held during Thursday’s session of the conference, which will begin at 9 am. In the evening the Canterbury branch of the association, host for the conference, will hold its golden jubilee dinner at the New Nurses’ Home. The conference will resume at 9 ajn. on Friday and will adjourn about 5 p.m. Wide Representation Sixty branches of the association throughout New Zealand will be represented at the conference and about 400 delegates and observers are expected to attend the ■ official opening. A conference of New Zealand hospital matrons, convened by the Director of Nursing Services 'Miss F. Cameron) will be held in Christchurch on Tuesday.
