Woman Injured In Collision
A woman was injured in a collision between two cars at the intersection of Bealey avenue and Manchester street at 6.50 p.m. on Thursday. She is Mrs Gwendolyn Alice Smith, of No. 3 Drain road. Fernside. Mrs Smith was taken by St. John ambulance to the Christchurch Public Hospital and admitted. The drivers were the injured woman’s husband Mr Tack Smith, and the Rev Father Roland Connelly. S.M.. of St Bede’s College. Late last evening Mrs Smith’s condition was reported to be satisfactory. Golf
