N.Z. BOYS’ TOUR OF BRITAIN
Full Programme Arranged “The Press” Special Service LONDON, April 1. A full programme has been arranged for 12 ’New Zealand schoolboys who will spend two months touring Britain this summer, and offers of hospitality from individuals, business firms and institutions are still being received by the London headquarters of the Overseas League, which, at the request of the New Zealand branch, has made all plans for the boys’ entertainment. As far as possible they will be accommodated in private homes. While in London the boys will visit Windsor Castle for a day as guests of Lord and Lady Freyberg, see the BBC. television centre, attend the House of Commons at question time, watch the final of the amateur Football Cup at Wembley, and tour the Mansion House and the Royal Mint. Dame Flora MacLeod has invited them to stay with her at Dunvegan Castle in Skye. The boys will also see the New Zealand cricketers at various places during their tour of Britain, and will pay a call on the acting High Commissioner at New Zealand House.
